1. You should know a bit of Thai.. like sawadee ka (hello), Kop Koon Ka(thank you), Mai Cai (No), Cai(Yes) etc.etc..it will be very useful for you coz not all thai people can speak english.
2. Choose a hotel that is near Prathunam. when your there u'll understand. :)
3. Eat in the streets! - (it is where the whole new culinary adventure awaits.) Wag ka magalala at ang pagkain sa kalye ay certified malinis! :) di ako nagkasakit e.. nabusog pa ako!
I recommend: Som Tam (Green Papaya Salad) / Tom Yam Kung (Hot and Sour Shrimp Soup) / Khao New Mamuang (sticky Rice with Steamed Mango) / etc etc.4. Shop at Chatuchak! - (this is like divisoria + greenhills + ukay rolled into one). Sobrang sarap magshopping! u can't stop buying goods daming magagandang items. grabe! Just don't forget your hat and pamaypay... sooobrang init kasi! bka himatayin ka gaya ko..
5. Go to Prathunam - (a small chatuchak within bangkok area). if u can't get enough of shopping,,,go there! you'll "heart" it!6. Try Thai Massage! - After mo mag chatuchak at prathunam... malamang puro blisters na ang paa mo at masakit na ang katawan mo... so you need that!
7. Visit the Floating Market. - A thailand trip is not complete without visiting Damnoen Saduak. its a bit chaotic but still its a must see! :) try eating mami on a banca... it is so cool! hehehe.8. Be a Muai Thai Fan - I love thai boxing so much but unfortunatelly i wasnt able to witness a live fight at Patong Boxing Stadium. *sad* ( for those who want to see one... visit Patong in Phuket, it features live matches every Fridays / 8.00pm. )
9. Visit the Rose Garden - The site comprises 75 acres of perfectly manicured grounds with a lake as a central feature. Certainly a place for gentle strolls and picnics, the resort also offers a number of excellent restaurants alongside cultural shows including handicraft skills, Thai boxing, and sword fighting.
10. Watch the Elephant/Cobra and Crocodile Show - If u love dumbo, fear factor and brazilian football... then you'll love watching this 2 shows. :D (try getting this within a tour para maka mura ka.)
